I'm so pleased to say I've completed the rewrite of Miles Between Us. It has taken much longer than I thought it would, but I think that's the nature of what I was attempting. After my NWS report last year I decided to undertake a significant rewrite, changing the hero significantly and much of the plot.

I think it's much improved as a result and it has been a big learning curve. I still have some work to do on it and a dreaded synopsis to write, but the bulk of the work is done for now.

So I can kick back, relax, and enjoy some...
I may even find time to blog again, although I have been over on The Romaniacs blog talking about what it takes to write a novel.

Next week I'm heading to the RNA Summer Party and directly after that I am on holiday for a week. It's safe to say I can't wait and this time it feels well deserved.

  1. Well done and hope you enjoy your holiday. Please report back on the RNA party - I'd love to know what goes on there... ;)

  2. Congratulations. I finished a major rewrite last week so share your delight.

Hope you have a fabulous time at the Summer Party and on your holiday.

  3. Thank you, Clair. I can't wait for holiday and will be reporting about RNA party on my return! xx

  4. Congratulations! I'm going to the party too. Looking forward to seeing you. What time are you heading home from London? We could share a taxi to the train again...

  5. Hi Denyse,

Look forward to seeing you at the party! I'm staying over this time. I'm sure there will be someone to share a taxi with though! xx
