Deliveries: 26th March 2014

How lovely to receive a prize on my birthday! I was lucky enough to win a date with eHarmony! The competition asked for some first date advice or a story. My advice was to do something unusual on the first date, like go to fireworks which is what my husband & I did on our first date after meeting online. We got to choose from 12 options for our date. Some of them were too far away with having the twins so we opted for a romantic walk at a National Trust Park. That way we can take the twins with us! The passes arrived today so we'll have to plan a lovely family day out soon.

Deliveries: 20th March 2014

Today the £10 Aldi voucher arrived after I won their regular Friday retweet competition. We get our nappies & wipes for the twins from Aldi so a £10 voucher will keep them in good stead for over a week at Aldi prices!

Deliveries: 18th March 2014

Garfunkel's run a weekly Friday quiz on twitter & last Friday I was lucky enough to win! The prize is a £30 voucher and the timing is perfect as I'm up in London on my writing course next weekend! It means I can enjoy a lovely dinner before heading home! And because it's my birthday next week, there will be pudding!

Deliveries: 13th March 2014

Today three prizes arrived - two expected items in the post and a surprise parcel from UKMail.
This voucher is from Dr Oetker. They are giving away 100,000 pizzas and I received a winning email a couple of weeks ago.
I won the book, another on the longlist for the Bailey's Prize from Windmill books. They asked for a still life picture of the objects around you & I sent this picture:
There was a twin playing on either side so this was the only still part of the room!
Lastly, a surprise win! I had a text message from UK Mail yesterday informing me of the delivery, but as the contact was only a first name and no other info I had no idea what would arrive! The rather weighty box contained this stash of goodies! Washing up liquid & washing powder are very helpful in a household with twins. There was no letter with the box, but having double checked I won these goodies from Your Home magazine.

Deliveries: 12th March 2014

Today I had two parcels in the post:
The Undertaking I received from GoodReads. It has since been longlisted for the Bailey's Women's Prize for fiction so promises to be a good read.
I won this ChillFactor after sharing a post on Facebook for Character Toys. It arrived very quickly as I only won on Friday. This will be great for when the girls are old enough to use it.

Deliveries: 8th March 2014

Arriving in today's post was this fantastic looking book, A Pleasure & A Calling by Phil Hogan from Goldsboro Books. It's a signed first edition that I won from Goldsboro Books on twitter. It was a lovely surprise to also find a signed tote in with the book. The book has a great premise... Mr Heming is an estate agent who keeps a copy of every key to all the houses he has sold. I'm going to have to read it to find out why! It's creepily close to a real life story of a friend of a friend. Someone was 'breaking in' to their house whilst they were at work. They somehow had a key & were falsely using the address. I'll have to find out what the outcome was in that case as well as reading this intriguing novel.

Deliveries: 5th March 2014

This beautiful book arrived today from Goodreads. I love the cover. It's very clever with a keyhole cutout & the picture behind. It's premise sounds very intriguing & I hope I get the chance to read it soon. With the recent influx of books they'll be fighting to be read!
