March Update

This month has gone by SO quickly (did I say that last month?) with the first two weeks being too busy for me to get on with my goals. I've made up for it in the last part of the month so here's what I managed:
Writing:
My aim was to fill the notepad by the end of the month and I more or less managed it aside from two pages. I did attempt to finish the challenge last night but the chapter wasn't going as I wanted it to so I need to sort it out a bit before continuing. My main goal for next month is to get it all typed up & fill the lovely notepad I got from the WriteStars course I attended.
I won the course thanks to WriteStars and ChocLit and I'll do a post about it over on The Romaniacs. It was really helpful for my stage of writing and I got lots of good feedback about my Work In Progress.

Reading:
I finished reading The Cornish House by Liz Fenwick. I loved Liz's writing & gave it 5/5 stars on GoodReads. I'm now halfway through The Crimson Ribbon which I'm enjoying. With any luck
I'll catch up a bit more with my reading this month.

Health:
I'm really pleased to have lost a stone! I wanted to by my birthday and I managed it! Over my birthday I haven't been very good but I'm heading back tonight to see what the damage is and hoping to lose more before the RNA Summer Party. No good food recipes this month as I've been too busy.

Competitions:
I have managed to complete my achievable wins after winning some National Trust Passes.
This crosses off a family day out as we can take the girls out for the day.

I'm hoping to concentrate more on my writing over April as it won't be long until it's due in for the NWS.

Hope everyone has a lovely April.

  2. Thanks, Liz. The house isn't clean, but hey the twins are fed! Now keeping the stone off is the challenge!
